Net used 2011  97.125 yards

I finished the autumn basket table centrepiece in time to add it to a housewarming gift for DS2 and future DIL on Saturday.
We had a lovely drive to Kitchener, and finally met future DIL's mother.  We managed to chat, but mostly using her older daughter as interpreter.  Her English is limited, and my Russian is non-existant!  We still managed to share lots of information - we're both moms and want the best for our youngest children - what else matters!

Head over to Judy's blog to see how others' are doing this week.

  1. I am in awe of your table top quilt. I just don't have the patience to applique.

  2. Love needs no interpreter and both of you love your children. Quilting has no language barrier either. Your table top is fantastic.

  3. The feathered wreath is so nice! Hard to believe it is done on a domestic machine. Good luck and have fun with your new DIL. I'm sure she'll love it!
