My fabric from the Fabric Depot arrived this week.
I ordered a yard each of these 5 pretty batiks. No project planned, but I'm sure they'll find a home soon.
I also ordered 3 3/4 yards of this lovely cream, from the Hoffman Challenge line of fabrics. It has the perfect tone to use as background for another pinwheel "stack n whack". I just have to get the fabric washed.
Used this week 6.375 yards
Used year to date 61.375 yards
Added this week 8.75 yards
Added year to date 11.25 yards
Net used 2011 50.125 yards
I finished my Tossed Fruit Salad Runner and 4 placemats this week. Pictures coming soon....
Check on everyone's progress at Judy's blog.
I've not caved to the pressure of batiks...yours sure are pretty.
ReplyDeleteOh my those batiks are pretty! I do love batiks. Can't wait to see what you make with them.
ReplyDeleteLove your batiks and your stack n whack fabrics-I've yet to make one of those but I have the book for when I do. :)
ReplyDeleteI was at Fabric Depot last weekend during a big sale. I have to tell you, it is so much easier to shop on line. That place overwhelms me! But I love it there!!
You have used a lot of fabric so far this year, good job!
I love the batiks, they are gorgeous! I haven't made a stack and whack yet, but its on my list of quilts to make. I will have to check out the website for Fabric Depot as I haven't heard of them. Thanks for the info.
ReplyDeleteFun fabrics that you received this week. Great stash report. You are doing awesome.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing your finished projects!
