Bargello Jacket
I completed my jacket on Saturday night. I had the sleeves and sides seams basted together several times to get the fit correct for me. DH was trying to help, making suggestions. I chose to round the corners at the neck and hem. I could add buttons, but like it the way it is for now. I'm really pleased with the finished jacket, and I think I'll get lots of use in the spring and fall up north, and in the winter in Florida. Since I bought extra fabric, I'm thinking of making a purse to match.
It was fun making the jacket, based on a sweatshirt

Looks beautiful! Love the colors and design and I'm sure you will get lots of use out of it. A matching purse would be perfect.
ReplyDeleteVery nice!
ReplyDeleteIt's lovely, Susan! The narrow stripes between each piece of the bargello gives a sort of stained-glass effect. :)
